follow button on bottom right of blog

  Hi, how do I add the wordpress follow button on the bottom right hand corner of my site- I’ve seen that other blogs have this and I am unclear as to how to add it. The follow widget I am referring to is the grey one.

  Your site is not hosted by wordpress.COM on our servers so that’s why you can’t do this.

  Hi there,

  The WordPress.com action bar is specific to WordPress.com sites. We are working on adding it to Jetpack, so all Jetpack-connected sites like yours will also show it, but for now that is not possible.

  However, there is another WordPress.com follow button you can generate for your site which you then add via an HTML widget that will allow people to easily follow your site in the WordPress.com Reader. You can find information on how to generate that button here:

  I’m afraid I can’t give you a timeline on that, but I’ve added your request to the open issue we have for this. The more people who want the feature, the higher priority it will be for our developers to implement.
