follow button on left bottom corner doesn't recognize login

  Hi,

  I’ve had my blog for two years now, even though I’m self hosting I was able to click the follow button that pops up on the left corner when I visit other wordpress blogs and it would turn green.

  Today, nothing happened when I clicked it, and when I logged into wordpress.com and clicked it again, nothing happened. I signed in and out of my blog – no difference. I changed my password – made no difference.

  There has to be something that I’m doing wrong.

  Does anyone have an idea of what’s going on?

  OK. I would like to know, is it a problem with the follow button not changing the way it should, or is it that you are actually not being able to follow other sites? To find out, can you try the following.

  First, it could just be a simple cache problem. Check out the following page to see how you can clear you cache. Then, try accessing & following the site again. Does the follow button change?
  Clearing Your Browser Cache
  (If you’re using the app, then let us know, too.)

  Second, is it just one site that this error occurs on, or is it on multiple sites?

  Third, try pressing the button once and then go and see if the site has been added to your reader. You can check the sites you follow from here:
  https://wordpress.com/following/manage

  Please let us know how those go and then we will see what else we can do.

  It feels like my login doesn’t work. Because it doesn’t recognizes it it won’t change color.

  But I already changed my password and if I log out of wordpress.com and back in that works too.

  Is there a way to see if I’m logged into wordpress.com with two different logins?

  It also looks like I can log into wordpress.com on my iPad, which then has the green follow button, but not on my mac. I’ll try clearing my cache next.
