‘Follow by e-mail’ appears not to work

  Hello!
  Recently tried to follow 2 blogs by email using the little button that appears at the bottom right of wordpress sites (pops up, you input your email, and you’re supposed to get some kind of confirmation).
  It appears not to have worked both times— no confirmation has come through, and from what I’ve heard from friends, the same thing has happened when trying to follow my site by email the same way.

  After following, new posts from the followed blog will appear in Reader. There is no confirmation.

  Hi there,

  The confirmation emails are not coming through, because your account is blocking us from sending you any subscription emails for any sites.

  You can remove this block from your account’s notification settings, here:
