Follow by Email

    Hi there,

    Lots of readers follow my blog via email.
    In time old posts get updates these subscribers want to know about, but I don’t think they get updated via Email on any post I update?

    So is there a way to notify Email subscribers on updates, via the same system?

    Hi,

    I’m afraid the only time when an email is sent to your subscribers is when a post is first published publicly — this also includes whenever a private post is first made public.

    Sending a notification to subscribers on every update might cause confusion for them. If an update is very important for your subscribers, what you can do is publish a new short post with a link to the updated one.
