Follow Count Does Not Seem Accurate

    I don’t think this inquiry went through (didnt’t get a confirmation email) so I’m trying again. 23 hours ago,
    (email visible only to moderators and staff) followed me, bringing my follow count to 259. These 2 followed suit

    but my count went up only to 260. Then about 8 hours ago, my count went DOWN back to 259. (So you’re not confused by my current count: since then, http://godandgoodlife.wordpress.com/ started following, bringing me back up to 260.) If readers in fact did unsubscribe, that’d put me at ease that the numbers make sense. But in light of several technical glitches I’ve been having the last few wks, I’m concerned my count is not accurate. Can you please tell me who/how many unsubscribed in the last 24 hours – and can you chk if my follows and counter connection is fine? Thanks so much.

    Update

    I got an email 16 minutes ago notifying me that this person is following me

    but he does not show up on my stats list and my count did not go up.

    I wasn’t imagining the disconnect between my counter and follows! SOS.
