Follow my own blog?

  Why is there an option at the top of the screen to follow my own blog? What’s the point in including it? I don’t need updates on what I’ve posted myself.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  I follow my own blogs so I am aware of exactly what’s going on for my subscribers. If they don’t receive updates then I’m aware of that. If you don’t want to follow your own blog then don’t click the link.
