Follow option doesn't work

  Hi, one easily follow my blog, I did it myself to learn how it works. But updates have never come to my followers’ emails. Could you fix it?
  I’ve got one more question: I started using premium account, does it mean I can start a partnership programme with, e.g. booking.com and have their ad displayed on my blog? can’t find this info. I’ve applied for AdWords, but I think it’s not the same. Thank you.

  Hi Anastasia,

  Can you give me some examples of followers who don’t receive updates? You can put their email address in your reply here, and only staff will be able to see the emails. That way I can look to see why they aren’t receiving email updates.

  Advertising besides WordAds at WordPress.com is not allowed, even with a Premium plan. For full details, please see our Advertising support page and the Types of Blogs allowed at WordPress.com.

  Hi Anastasia,

  I took another look at your site at http://bearswithbalalaikas.com/ and I see what’s going on now. You are writing everything on your site on regular pages, rather than blog posts. When you write a page, that page isn’t sent out to your followers.

  Your followers only receive updates for blog posts you write, so you’ll need to write posts if you want your followers to get them via email. You can write new posts in the editor here:

  https://wordpress.com/post

  Sure! You can use a Text Widget to add any text you want like that. You can also see our guide to Prevent Content Theft for more tips about that.
