  Is there a way to follow all posts and comments on a blog (without checking the ‘notify me of follow-up comments…’ for each comment)?

  When I say ‘follow all posts and comments on a blog’ – I mean get the email whenever there’s a new post or comment.

  yes. Allow me to use an example:
  This is the URL for the feed for posts on the blog linked to your username
  http://b797.wordpress.com/feed/
  This is the URL for the feed for comments on all posts on the blog linked to your username
  http://b797.wordpress.com/comments/feed/
  Anyone can subscribe to those feeds and/or other feeds on your blog by using a feeedreader. http://en.support.wordpress.com/feeds/

  Not feeds – is there a way to get an email every time someone posts or comments? Like when someone ‘follows’ the blog, they get emails whenever there’s a post. Can they also get emails whenever there’s a comment posted (without checking ‘notify me of follow-up comments…’ for each comment)?

  Are you referring to your own blog of which you are the Admin on or are you referring to someone’s comments on their blog?

  I’ve read that too but you’d have to check the box for every single comment on every post to get emails for comments like you do for posts. Thought there must be another way to do it.

  To me ‘following a blog’ should send notification of everything that happens – new topics, new pages, comments…..

  I’m sorry that there is no parallel follow comments subscription feature like the follow blog post subscription feature.
