Follow to download button

    I would like to have a button on a post that after being pressed reveals a download link. The purpose of this is to have users press a “follow me to unlock” button which links to a social media account and then when they go back to my website post the download link is there. I can find a plugin that would make this work or give some sort of advanced buttons to do this. Any help is appreciated!

    It’s a bit unclear what your overall goal is.

    Are you trying to allow people to download your blog post as a PDF file or in a different format?

    Or are you trying to get people to follow you on social media by clicking on a button?

    If I understand you well, people must first follow you on social media before they can download something?

    If you can’t find such a plugin at https://wordpress.org/plugins/, perhaps you can find it using Google. If not, you probably need some custom code.
