Follow up on my Refund

    I just wanted to follow up regarding my refund request. I have cancelled my subscription and domain last week. Am I expecting some email notification that it has been deposited to my bank account?

    You should see it come up within the next couple of days. I will also be tagging this thread with the modlook tag to get some better verification for you from the staff.

    For more information on refunds you can go to https://en.support.wordpress.com/refunds/. I’m not sure how many business days it has been but it should take 5-7 business days or 1-2 billing statements depending on your bank.

    You can check the billing of the refunded purchase here: https://wordpress.com/me/purchases/billing

    It can take up to 10 business days to see the refund posted to your account. So, if you do not see it within the next 3 or so days, let us know.

    hello I still didn’t receive any notification that it has been deposited to my account. I have sent my refund request since January 24, 2017 and today is Feb 6 already. Who should I talk to regarding this matter? who will gonna confirm if its already deposited to my account?

  • Hi there,

    I will check on this later today since the business day has not technically hit yet for most banks.

    It is possible that it may take longer, but I have checked our account and the refund has been processed, so we no longer have the payment in our possession. i would definitely contact your bank and check to see if they see any refund processing on their end.

    The refund has been confirmed, and you can go here for a receipt for your records.

    Depending on the bank, it may take a few more days than normal, but again, they may have information that is processing that you may not see on your end – so if you haven’t contacted them, I would do so just in case.
