Follow-Up on Refund for WordPress.com Personal Upgrade

    I hope this email finds you well. I am writing to inquire about the status of a refund for an upgrade that I recently cancelled.

    On 5-August-2023, I received a notification confirming the cancellation of the WordPress.com Personal upgrade for my website.

    The email indicated that a refund of US$9.00 would be processed and sent to the original method of payment used for the initial purchase.

    However, as of today’s date, I have not yet received the refunded amount in my account. I understand that it might take 7-10 business days for the refund to reflect in my account, but I wanted to confirm whether the refund process is still underway or if there might be any issues.

    I kindly request your assistance in clarifying the status of the refund and any further steps that might be needed from my end to ensure a smooth resolution. If there are any additional details required from me to expedite the process, please do let me know, and I will provide the necessary information promptly.

    I have cancelled the montly plan upgrade and issued a refund for your original purchase amount. You can see a receipt confirming this refund here:  https://wordpress.com/me/billing

    You can expect to see the funds in your account within 7-10 business days (so weekends and holidays are not included) but it may take a billing cycle or two for the refund to show up on your statement depending on your institution. I can confirm the refund was processed on our end, but you may also wish to contact your credit card company to also confirm.
