  Is there a way to have the Follow Post widget send a notification of a new post instead of the post itself? When followers get the post it is not displayed in the theme format.

  Also, My blog is in magazine style and has a front page. The front page is where I want followers to land instead of on the actual post.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there,

  Unfortunately, a notification of a new blog post can only link to the new post, not the homepage.

  However, I’m not sure if you’ve considered this, but you can make an adjustment so your subscribers only receive a summary of your post, rather than the whole text. That way, they can click to be brought back to your full post on your site, if they want to read your entire article. Otherwise, they may never click out of the email, as they can read the whole text there.

  Simply select “Summary” where you see “For each article in a feed, show.” Then save your changes.
