Follow widget options

  I can see that one can adjust a widget’s visibility so that it only displays under certain conditions – but that is when the widget is displayed.

  Can one set the Follow widget to notify people only about certain items that’s been posted – for example, posts that are categorised as ‘notices’, but not any of the other posts in other categories?

  (The site I’m working on is still private.)
