"Follow" without sidebar?

    Hi,
I have a question to which I think the answer very well is “no”.
Anyway; I have used a blog template and with super help on this forum in the past I have tweaked it to suit the need for a more regular website for
my work. The site has been up for a couple of years soon, just changed the domain name.
I upload new stuff almost every week during school year, and people have asked me if they can be notified when new stuff is up.
Well, there is no sidebar, a static front page – I suspect there is no way
to make a “follow” or “notify” work ?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

If you look at the bottom right of your site, you will see a “Follow button. If people click on that, they can follow your site. The button will disappear once someone scrolls down a page or post, but will reappear when the scroll back to the top.

Hello thesacredpath! You are always there!

I have 1 button as I can see; enable translation.

I did not have my brightest evening last night!
On my working device I am logged in at all times, but then checking on another device – sure; the “Follow” button was there.
    Thanks for bearing with me.
