Followed instructions for Domain mapping – email no longer working

On 31/07/2015 I bought $13 wordpress.com mapping for madetomeasuretraining.com Following the other steps on wp.com, I then:
Changed my DNS records on Bluehost from ns1.bluehost.com to ns1.wordpress.com etc
Cancelled an existing redirect to madetomeasuretraining.wordpress.com on Bluehost.
Updated primary domain from madetomeasuretraining.wordpress.com to madetomeasuretraining.com
After following these steps, the website has propagated and is working fine at the newly mapped address but my apple mail on both my mac and iPhone no longer work. On mac mail I get the following message:
“There may be a problem with the mail server or network. Verify the settings for account “Bluehost: @madeto-.com” or try again.
The server returned the error: Connections to the server “mail.madetomeasuretraining.com” on the default ports timed out.”
Does anyone have an explanation and more importantly, a solution to this problem? Any help would be hugely appreciated!The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Also, I found a note on my wp.com account stating my “domain currently has custom mail servers defined in its DNS settings. This means that WordPress.com Email Forwarding is not available for this domain, and that you should manage your email with your email provider.”
But my email provider, Bluehost, has fobbed me off to wp.com saying ‘everything is now with them so it’s for wp.com to fix’! I am not technologically gifted bloke, but am prepared to follow any instruction from anyone who appears to know what they are talking about. -

I am in Canada and the redirect for mapping the domain is I am in Canada and the domain mapping redirect is working fine for me. It is not unusual for the last place to flush their DNS caches to be your own ISP. You can view the DNS changes here > http://www.whatsmydns.net/ What’s important during this stage is to be patient.

Wordpress.com does not provide an email address for mapped domains. See:
