Follower count

  Just noticed that my blog followers jumped from 104 this morning to 350 currently. i checked through the stats and I THINK WordPress now counts your blog followers + Twitter followers + FB followers into this number?

  Not a huge deal because 350 obviously looks better (and is, in a way, more accurate of how many “followers”).. more of an observational question if this was a permanent switch over or a temporary testing-out glitch?

  I’m sorry but we Volunteers don’t have answer to any stats anomalies questions.We rely on what’s in the support documentation on site stats and in forum threads. You will have to contact Staff.

  I guess I’m just wondering if anyone else has noticed this on their own follower count – or if it’s just mine that’s got this anomaly…

  Yes, the same to me. The added my twitter followers to my wordpress followers.

  Staff has confirmed that they’re counting Twitter followers.
