Follower count

  I recently switched themes, and after doing so my follower count is no longer showing almost 1,700 followers. It is only showing the number since switching themes.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there,

  I checked your count and can confirm that you still have that many followers. Where you are seeing this incorrect amount?

  Also, can you try clearing out your browser’s cache and cookies, try a different browser, or a different computer if you can, and see if the problem persists?

  emptied caches, even tried on a different computer. It’s only showing 236 followers. prior to switching themes, I had close to 1,700.

  would love to know how to rectify this. very frustrating.

  Can you tell me where you are seeing this number displayed?

  As I said, I can verify that you still have the correct number of followers, so this sounds like it may be a display issue, and I will need to know where you are seeing this so I can troubleshoot.

  in the right hand column, at the very top…just below the banner. The follower count widget. WordPress icon, then the word “following:” and then the number 236.
