Follower count not updating

As a newbie, the follower count is important. Mine is stuck on a number and is not updating. I know its fact because the list of follower names does not include ones that subscribed recently, as confirmed by email notifications telling me that I have new followers. Any advice please?

The thread you posted into about stats not updating is tagged for Staff support.
