Follower count reduced by over 100?

    My site stats showed consistently over 150 followers until today, when it reduced down to about 40. What would cause this rapid drop? Or is something wrong with the site stats? I am not terribly concerned because I do know who truly follows my blog, but that deduction in one day makes me think something is amiss.
