Follower function needs to be optional

  So I guess that wordpress is based on having followers as a default. That is very strange in this day and age. We bloggers who pay for our blogs should be able to decide if we want our blog followed. Maybe most bloggers want following, but not everybody does. It should be optional.

  I see you added the block function for posting on my editor sidebar. I am still using the older editor version as it works just fine for me. I cannot understand the new editor at all. It makes no sense to me. I am happy with the old way of posting, simple and easy.

  Why can’t you have add a function that says enable or disable followers? Seems pretty easy to me, and very logical. I will not accept some lame excuse for why you cannot make this happen. And I am not going to make my blog private just to suit your needs. My blog should never be private. I just do not want any followers.

  This same freaky person still follows me. It has been going on for over 6 weeks or more. I continually remove her and put her in the trash can. But there she is the next day. This is clearly a situation that requires me to have the power not her. We have nothing in common. She is a stalker. I should be able to disable following on my blog.

  Do you understand this? Probably not. But I am here too and I have a say as to what I want done with my blog. I am a paying customer. I have a website that you have created and continue to modify. Well modify this! Followers should be enabled or disabled.

  I am not saying to stop everyone from following. I am saying to have a feature that allows me and everyone else to decide if we want following on our blog. Simple.

  I do not care is she reads my blog. In fact I want anyone anywhere to read my words. i just do not want followers.

  Isn’t there someone there at wordpress who can make this happen? It is very simple to understand really. Am I talking to a wall?

  Well it this a wall I guess.

  OK, I will continue being a customer here because I really love to blog and put my words out on the Universe for everyone to read. I only speak the truth. I want people to read my words and know the truth about our Universe.

  But I do not want to be stalked by anyone and wordpress is allowing that to happen. Someone developed this blog site that encourages stalking and decided not to do anything to make it better. That is what I see happening. Stalking is a very negative activity.

  A simple change could turn this all around the right way. But there is no one here at wordpress who sees that. I am not the only blogger who as experienced this problem and been ignored over and over.

  I am closing this again and will not return, here but was not “resolved”. My idea (follower function should be optional) was ignored again by many negative people at wordpress who like stalking situations to happen. And do not care about the paying customers at all.

  I am simply not going to be in the middle of the big mess that is happening at wordpress right now.
