Follower loss
-
Hello,
I want to migrate my follower on my blog patrickdunkelberg.wordpress.com to my selfhosted blog dunkelberg.ch, but there are no followers no more – it seems, that they are deleted somehow. I had around 20 people following my blog. Is there any chance to get back these follower? /modlock
Thank you for your answer!

Have you installed and activate Jetpack http://jetpack.me and followed these instructions? https://en.support.wordpress.com/moving-a-blog/moving-your-subscribers/#wordpress-com-to-self-hosted-site

Thank you for your answers!
However, the problem is, that I lost my followers on my wordpress.com-blog and I don’t know why. There are no subscribers that I could transfer. The first time I migrate my followers worked, but than I changed my selfhostet blog and made a new one. I would also migrate my wordpress.com follower to my second selfhosted blog, but there weren’t any on the wordpress.com blog. Do they get deleted when they were transfered?

The followers are moved, they aren’t copied. You would need to migrate them from the old Jetpack connected self-hosted site to the new one.

I thought about this. I can’t migrate from the old self-hosted site, because I deleted it. Is there a chance to get back the follower on the wordpress.com blog?

Can you confirm that this is correct?
