Follower Not Receiving Email Updates

Hello – I have several followers who are not receiving any email updates when the blog has been updated. They have accepted my invitation to my non-public site, and updated their notification settings. They checked with their email provider and the issue is not on their end. I asked them to unsubscribe to the blog and re-follow it, but it didn’t change the fact that they still haven’t received an email. Any thoughts on what the issue is?

Hi @pcresourcecenter, do you subscribe to your own updates, and if so are you getting the emails? Just trying to determine whether this is a few accounts or a wider issue.
Also, with their permission, you could share the email addresses here so staff can check on them for you. If you’ll type the addresses normally, our forums software will automatically hide the addresses from all but staff.

Hi @supernovia, thanks for getting back to me. A few followers are having trouble receiving email updates – (email visible only to moderators and staff) & (email visible only to moderators and staff). Please let me know if there’s anything you need from me

The second one is not currently subscribed to anything here, so they will need to subscribe if they want to receive emails.
The first one is subscribed and last received an email from us on May 2, which matches their preference to receive a weekly digest. If they’d like to switch that preference to immediate emails, they can do so at https://subscribe.wordpress.com/
