follower notifications

  When email only followers sign up to follow my blog, I do not get a notification that they have signed up, they don’t show up on my followers list, and they don’t get email notification when I have created a new post.

  Also, I know of at least one wordpress follower who does not receive notifications when I create a new post.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there,

  I just checked our email logs and we did successfully send an email notification about 17 hours ago about a new follower. If you cannot find this email please check you spam folder. If it is not there, make sure that all emails from *wordpress.com are whitelisted.

  As for your followers, can I have their email address? I can check if the emails were sent out. The email addresses will be blocked out in this thread – only I will be able to see it.

  Also it would be a good idea for your followers to check their settings. You nor I would be able to change their email settings. Have them check their Blogs you Follow email notifications by going here:

  http://wordpress.com/following/edit/

  In addition, have them check their Delivery Settings here to make sure they are not blocking emails from WordPress.com:

  https://wordpress.com/settings/subs-delivery/
