Follower number have fallen hugely in one day?

  I have been building my followers and as of yesterday had 642, today I have 138. What happened?

  Easter long weekend is what happened. Get ready for the same to happen on Christmas and every long weekend but to a lesser degree.

  Oops! I replied as if you asked what happened to views. But you meant followers so I tagged this thread for a Staff response.

  @mzzoomer – did you recently disconnect your site from Twitter?

  Up until recently it looks like you were using Publicize to share your posts on your Twitter account, which has over 500 followers. If you disconnected the service, that would explain your drop in followers being reflected in your stats.

  Let me know if that isn’t the case and I’ll look into this further.

  Thanks. That must be it. I didn’t realize that i had done that. Have now fixed it and will see how it goes. Appreciate your quick response!
