Follower receiving spam since commenting on a post

  One of my followers is suddenly getting spammed since commenting on my posts, so she’s not commenting any longer. Why would this be happening?

  Do they receive spam in their e-mail? or blog? what’s their username?

  The spam is coming to her university email account. She doesn’t have a WordPress account. She was getting these 4-5 times a day. Do you want me to forward those to you so you can see their source?

  I don’t think those are triggered by commenting on your blog, since their e-mail address is not publicly visible. The e-mails have unsubscribe links at the bottom, so they could unsubscribe using those.
