follower is not able to confirm subscription
One follower using Firefox has clicked on follow, provides her email address, receives email asking to confirm, but she clicks on “confirm follow” she is taken to WordPress Email Subscriptions page and can’t activate her subscription.
When she goes back to my blog, it shows subscription pending.
How can she confirm her subscription??? Can wordpress process this in the background?
The blog is http://sv-takeiteasy.com
The follower is (email visible only to moderators and staff)The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there!
The easiest way for us to handle this is to have the user contact us directly. Can you tell me what the email address is? And do they have a WordPress.com account?

Hi
Her email is (email visible only to moderators and staff)
Any instructions sent to her should be in French as she does not speak English. Or let me know what she needs to do and I will relay. I would like to understand what is happening there as I have been sitting with her witnessing the problem! Thanks -
Sorry forgot to add she does not have a WordPress account. Also I had already provided her ail and have again but it gets automatically ‘redacted’ so I hope you can actually see it at your end.

I totally understand. And I can see the email address. We redact them publicly to keep users safe from spam, but staff members can still see them.
I’ve gone ahead and manually confirmed this email address. Let me know if your reader continues to have trouble.

Thanks Shawna – I haven’t received confirmation from WordPress that she is a follower yet. We are currently travelling for a few days, so I will check with her when she is back at home, but if you would not mind confirming I’ll get notified as usual, that would be great.

Hi there!
Yep! You should still be notified of her confirmed subscription. Let me know if I can help further! :)
