Follower was dropped by wordpress and no invites getting to her

    Hello, I’ve had a long time follower to my blog Dragonnomads.wordpress.com
    She sent me an email wondering where my newest post was, and I discovered that she was no longer listed in my followers/email followers list. SO I sent her an invitation,that did not go through,either. She has both msn and gmail accounts. Another friend of mine was not getting my posts, either, and he had an msn account. Tell me why wordpress erased them without my actually doing so, and why aren’t my invitations getting to them?

    When you sent an invitation, are you able to confirm with this follow if any invitation landed in spam or any promotional inboxes please.

    Tell me why wordpress erased them without my actually doing so, and why aren’t my invitations getting to them?

    This isn’t something we’d do, so we’d like to try and retrace some steps to see what happened here.

    Yes, sir. The followers name is 51pottery. I am not going to put down the email address for fear that the person might get spammed.

    I asked the follower and was told there was nothing in their spam folder.

    I can see in the activity logs to your site that you invited t***********(email visible only to moderators and staff) most recently, so I looked in our email logs and I can confirm that the message is being sent successfully from our end. I do not see any “bounceback” notifications or other signs of a delivery failure.

    Can you ask them to use the search function in MSN email to search for this subject line?

    If the emails are not showing up in their mailbox (including spam/junk folders or seaching the above subject line directly) then there are a couple of possibilities:

    1: Their provider is having some sort of mail delivery problems. Please have them contact MSN about this.

    2: More likely – Their provider is discarding the mail from WordPress.com for some reason. Please have them contact MSN and say that WordPress.com has successful delivery reports for mail which is not making it into their mailbox, and ask MSN to determine from their mail logs what the reason for the non-delivery is.

    You can also ask them to enter their email address directly into the subscription form on the sidebar of your site and see if they are able to “self-subscribe” that way.
