Follower widget requires registration, how do remove the registration req.

    I am new to this, and I searched the forum to see if this had been answered first, but nothing came up to help me.

    I used the Follower widget under “Appearance” to put the Follower icon on the page. Unfortunately, it is requiring people to register with WordPress before they can follow me. Its killing my followers, since no one wants to register with WordPress to follow me. How can turn off the requirement to register with WordPress and just have the user enter a name and email address?
