Follower widget shows wrong number of followers

  Hi,
  The follower widget shows 48 followers on my blog, when I actually have 50. I got two new followers a week ago, and the number hasn’t gone up. I also haven’t gotten any notifications of new followers the last few I have gotten.

  There are no notifications for those who choose to unfollow.

  Yes, I realize that there are no notifications for those who choose to unfollow. I am not asking about them.

  I am asking about the two new followers. In my dashboard under “followers” it says 48, but I count 50 followers. The follow widget on my blog only shows 48. The two followers joined over one week ago. I know this takes a bit of time for the program to catch up, but does it normally take over a week?

  Re: notifications…Wordpress has not notified me of the last 5 or 6 new followers I have gotten.
