  How do I get my connections from other platforms to tally into my total number of followers as Facebook and Twitter do?

  Where are you looking when you see the total number? On your front page or on the stats page?

  I’m looking at the followers on my stats page. It only pulls in subscribers to the site, FB and Twitter numbers and no other. For instance, I would like it to pull in my LinkedIn numbers as well but the only thing I’ve seen to accomplish this is via a plug-in that only seems to work with WP.org and not WP.com which is where my site lives.

  I am sorry to say that we do not have a way to include LinkedIn followers on WordPress.com.

  Are there any plans to do so in the near-term? Why FB and TW and not LI or others?

  As I understand it, the issue is more than that LinkedIn API severely limits what can be done as far as this sort of thing.
