  I was wondering how I could stop my followers from receiving notification emails when I publish a new post. Is this possible?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  If they didn’t get notifications, they wouldn’t be Following you. There are unsubscribe instructions at the footer of each email they receive. They have to undo it themselves.

  I understand that if they’re not following me they won’t receive notifications. I was hoping there was a way to ensure that my followers do not receive emails informing them of a new post, but I think you’re saying that that is not possible. There are some people whom I follow and I never receive email notifications from them. I thought perhaps they know something I don’t.

  Not as far as I know. Those people can unsubscribe from the emails by following the link in the bottom of the emails to moderate their notifications.
