Hi! I got two friends that they click in follow my blog, enter the email and confirm the subscription, but I don’t receive the email like I have new followers, and I looked at my blog and doesn’t show new people. Can somebody help me pls?

I’ll tag this thread for Staff assistance. Will you please provide either usernames for those WordPress.com bloggers who you did not receive the confirmation emails for, or the email addresses for those who do not have WordPress.com accounts? The software will redact ie. HIDE the email addresses so only Staff can see them. After you do that subscribe to the thread so you are notified when they respond and please be patient while waiting.

Some people are reporting that if you create posts via the New Editor, the beep beep boop one, emails are not sent out to subscribers.

Today I was doing the same with another friend, email (email visible only to moderators and staff) and she click in my blog the botton “follow the blog” and wrote her email, and she never receive an email back.Also, I asked again “azabel” to do that again, and she did it, but I haven’t receive any email.
And with “xaviar” when he did, he received the email and confirmed the subscription….and nothing. Still I can’t see anybody… :(It’s weird, just last week or so I did it with my 2 friends that they are my only followers and it worked perfectly…

Ok, I just received the email that azabel is now following my blog.
So I told her that she could do that again, but not from my HOMe page, from another page. So she went to a post and did it, and look like it worked….can be that the one is not working is the one on my Home page, at the bottom ?Thanks

No, it’s all the same system, it doesn’t really matter where you follow from. At least they’re subscribed now. :)

I don’t know if it’s working again.
Two days ago a friend click to follow my blog “sandra.utiel18” and this time I received the email like she is following my blog…but I can’t see in my blog like a follower.The email says that:
(email visible only to moderators and staff) just started following you at http://habitosblog.wordpress.com. They will receive an email every time you publish a post. Congratulations.
