I’m of course aware you have to have good quality content to get people interested. I know all about it because I’ve taken a diploma in blogging and content marketing, however I’ve had this blog since may and am having trouble getting noticed. I know it would be easy for you to turn around and say its nothing to do with us, its all up to me. But I’m hopefully I may have clicked to hide something by accident?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I know how it feels, whether you have content to post or not people can choose to follow or not, sometimes none come for ages and at others you’ll find a whole group joining up at once.
I have had a look at your blog and determined your issue is with the style and colouring you have used for your blog. (you DO NOT need to change this, just consider it)
I am looking at your blog on a pretty standard laptop screen, and if I just load a page and scroll down, I see nothing that asks me if I want to follow your blog. Particularily looking at the sidebar on the right I notice:
search
about {text}
social {menu?}
calendar
tagsIt isn’t until I have to scroll the page up again a little that WordPress loads this minimal “follow” button in the bottom right corner, well out of the normal viewing range. It also happens to be just as white as your blog, which makes it easier to miss.
My suggestion for this is to give your viewers a very clear and obvious place where they can choose to subscribe. In the customization menu for widgets you should be able to find a +follow blog, and a +follow button, as options.
drop one or both (your choice) of these above or immediately below your search box should make it easier for viewers to follow your blog.
the only alternative would be for the visitor to follow your site manually by going to manage followed sites and entering your address in the top box.
If your issue happens to be that you get low views for your posts, consider what tags and categories you are making your posts under and if they could be clearer and more concise. You can also check your blog settings to see whether or not search engines are allowed to index your site, making it easier for people to find your blog through engines like google, bing, etc
hope this helps

Hi, I’ve made a couple of adjustments. Can you please take a quick look and let me know what you think?

the site looks great. as a fan of darker themes myself I would have to say its nice and easy on the eye’s, but you may want a more colourful/brighter colour scheme. based on the types of things you like to blog about, you just need to find a balance that works for you and can be viewed comfortably in most lighting conditions (day and night, sunny cloudy)
your follow blog options are clear and easy to find, which should make it easier for new readers to subscribe.
If your problem is more towards a low view count with your posts, then the only thing I can suggest is to reduce the tags on your posts to only the ones you really need.
WordPress is set to be able to handle your SEO (search engine optimisation) in a way that google finds it easy to index your site. however, your SEO can suffer from having too many tags or meta-data aimed at increasing potential links.
If you have fashion and inspiration as separate tags, and beauty, I see no need for the joined tags of ‘fashion inspiration’ or ‘fashion and beauty’. I think if you tidy these to a more select range of clear tags, your posts should get better coverage, both by google and by other WordPress goers looking for new content. it’s similar to how as long as you have 1 category or tag to give a post, you remove the uncategorized option since it is no longer true.
