  I’m sure I have seen, on other people’s blogs, a little gallery of followers and gravatars. I would like to add this to my sidebar. I can see a lot of information on keeping followers supplied with data – but I can’t see how to put followers in a sidebar. Have I dreamed this feature? If not, how can I make it happen, please?

  Not exactly – although I think it will do. It is something already visible on my blog which I hadn’t spotted so I thank you for pointing me at it. I thought on other blogs I had seen little gravatars of bloggers in a list of followers. But what is already visible is sufficient for my purposes. Thank you very much – you have increased my understanding of how wordpress works :-)

  Thank you, both – the ‘My Community’ widget was what I wanted.

  Curious to know – are you an atypical monster, or a typical monster?
