  Hi, I was just wondering whether there is a setting for approving followers or controlling which posts specific followers see?

  I have not yet seen a way to approve followers for a public blog, but the My Followers support document talks about how to review and remove your followers.

  You could make your blog Private, then only the people you invite can view it
