  What is the difference between followers and email followers? Do both receive notifications when a new post goes out?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there, followers have a WordPress.com account and are able to see posts in their Reader, whilst having the option of receiving emails, but not necessarily always receiving emails.

  Email followers don’t have a WordPress.com account and receive an email when new posts are published.
