A few days ago I had over 50 plus followers, I logged on two days ago all my followers were gone. Just opened my feed again I had 4 followers and now I have only 2 followers!! Hows that even possibel?! I’m sooo pissed. With BLOGGER I neever had a problem like this

Do you know if these were email or WordPress.com followers you had? Based on what I see, it may have been followers via your Publicize connection. I see that you deleted your connection about 7 days ago.
When did you notice the loss of followers? I also see that you made an address change recently. I want to see if the loss may have coincided with that change.

I had 55 followers.. I did change my address(site name) , I saw the change in losing followers 3 days ago which was Saturday or Sunday from last week. Does it say anywhere if I change my sitename I lose followers? I just can’t comprehend that.

But my followers keep going backwards, yesterday I had 4 followers and then I just had 2 followers.

Do you remember where you were seeing the followers listed?
Was it inside of WordPress.com?
Was it on the front end of the site?Right now there are zero followers on the site. That can be seen at https://wordpress.com/people/followers/beautyofcafe205.wordpress.com
Changing the site name wouldn’t affect the followers either. I looked back to the old site to make sure, but that also shows zero followers.

On the page ; Stats & Insights on top (right side) i would see all my followers, and I knoe it was 55 a few days ago. It seems like you can’t see where the problem is. How is it possible that when someone subscribes to me after a day or two it goes backwards, so instead of having 2 followers I would have zero or 1.

I see 2 and 1 pending. My only guess at this point is they’re just unsubscribing.
I recommend subscribing your own email address, just to see if there’s any change with that over the week.

I don’t know how to explain it anymore, because for me as a customer and user of WordPress is so frustrating, I get people following me I get the email I double check but my following is still on 1.
I feel like whether you don’t understand what I’m going through or I’m not being helped how I expect to. -
Is not possible to reboot my settings or troubleshoot. From my end I can’t do much more. I have checked all my settings everything seems fine

Thank you for reporting this issue @beautyofcafe205. I have been investigating this a bit and it seems that the site address change might have actually influenced the followers count.
We understand your frustration and our developers need to investigate this issue which seems to occur for some users.
We believe, however, that while your follower count is displaying incorrectly your posts will still be shared with your subscribers.Our developers hope to have a resolution for this issue in the future.

Finally I’m getting some information from your side and thank you for that. But how will it be resolved? It should atleast be told to all bloggers that there can be a possibility or chance that you following will be eliminated/affected in some sort. I didn’t know I have had many blogs and this never had happened to me.
Will my following be displayed on 0 for a long time?

I’m afraid we don’t really have much information about this right now – our developers are still trying to investigate this and develop a fix. We’ll let you know if we have an update on that.
