  Why do I lose my followers? When someone starts following my blog, an old follower dissapears from my list… I always remain with only 2 followers, even if I they are more.

  Hi there,

  Could you tell us some more details?
  Right now I can see 5 subscribers on your site (4 email subscribers and 1 WordPress.com follower). How do you know there are more subscribers than what’s displayed in your settings?

  Well, I am notified everytime someone starts following my blog, but when I look into statistics, I see what you see… some people told me they pushed several times on the Follow button, but they don’t see my site in their reader and I see them in my statistics just for a little while, they dissapear after a day or after someone else starts following the blog. Only the email subscribers are at their place. I don’t understand why… I thought maybe it has to do with the fact that I’ve recently changed the link of the blog…

  They are only some of the followers I used to have months ago, before this issue appears.

  I also have to mention that I try to follow melancolisme.wordpress.com and I also dissapear from the statistics of this blog…

  The only site on your account is https://ciresdemai.wordpress.com/ and we have no record of those folks subscribing to it.

  Are you referring to a different site?

  No, that’s the site and that’s the problem: they dissapear from the statistics. So many messages and questions and no one with an answear, yet?

  Hi there,

  Those followers weren’t gone. They just weren’t being properly associated with your site because of the site address change you did two months ago. This didn’t prevent any of them from seeing your posts in the Reader, but it did prevent them from being listed as followers in your dashboard.

  I’ve made an update to your site’s Reader feed to fix this issue, and you should now see those followers if you go to Manage ->People.

  This happens sometimes during site address changes, but for your site it’s now fixed. So it’s unlikely to happen again, unless you change your site address again :)
