  readers who don’t have a wordpress account who try to follow me are told

  “Your subscription did not succeed, please try again with a valid email address.”

  and when i send them an invite to follow the confirmation link doesn’t work.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  I show that only one of the two people you invited accepted their invitation to follow your blog:

  You can also review your email subscribers here:
  http://wordpress.com/#!/my-stats/?blog=37993160&blog_subscribers&type=email&unit=1

  Please note that they must click on the confirmation link in the email that we send when they request to follow your blog. Until they’ve confirmed their request to follow, they won’t receive email notifications for new posts and updates.

  Hi!!!!

  Thanks so much for responding. I tested the invite myself and found that when I clicked the link in the confirmation email, it didn’t load.

  but more importantly, when a reader tries to follow from the actual blog they get a weird message saying their email is invalid, when it’s not. And it doesn’t seem to happen when the person is a member of wordpress.

  I appreciate any feedback you can give me. I know how busy you must be.

  Would you be able to log out of WordPress and try to sign up to follow your blog via email and take a screenshot of the error message you get? This page has some helpful tips for taking screenshots:

  If you could upload the screenshot to your Media Gallery, I will have more to go on to see why they’re getting that message.
