Just curious, are ‘followers’ notified everytime I hit the update button, no matter how small the change – like fixing a typo?

I understand that rss feed followers are in fact notified, that is they receive the post again in their feed if I edit/ update it. This is a problem for me–I used to always re-check and edit my old posts (mostly how-to’s). Now I hesitate to.

That depends on the feed reader. Most feed readers, including Google Reader for example, only show posts with the “new” value. They don’t display posts with the “updated” value.

I cannot find where the list of my followers is located. I see the “follow” button and saw that I have 3 followers, but where do I see the names of these people who have requested an email for new posts? I got the email, but it only said that someone requested to follow and there was no identification. Please help.

Follower Stats
Your site stats page displays how many followers you have, who your followers are, as well as how many people are subscribed to post comments on your site.
