Followers and suchlike

  I have been blogging since mid July. I have tried to get new followers but to no avail. I think my blogs are good, but then everyone else thinks theirs is too. But I don’t know how to get out there. I want to be a serious (though not in content) blogger and use this as a practice for my first novel. But how many views (945 so far) and followers should I have after six weeks? There is no benchmark. Am I failing miserably? Am I not. You could all follow me, but that’s cheating isn’t it? Oh, I don’t know. Advice please

  Six weeks is not a very long time to have been blogging, and there are no benchmarks, no way to say 946 views in 42 days is good or not…

  Failing miserably? I’d say no. If you enjoy writing, then keep going.
