Followers are getting new posts, not new pages
-
A large portion of my website are new pages that I publish, not posts. I spoke with one of my followers and they confirmed that my new posts are being received but new pages are not. Is there any way to ensure that new published pages are also sent to my followers?

If you look at the support file, Post vs. Page, you’ll see that they’re not the same thing at all. For example, you can’t add tags to Pages, and they aren’t part of your blog’s RSS feed output. Google doesn’t pay much attention to Pages, so you may not want to put your best content in a Page. It’s possibly better to use mostly Posts, assign Categories to them, and use the “Categories” widget in a sidebar so your readers can easily find that information.

I know posts and pages aren’t the same thing, I deliberately chose to make pages after coming to this forum for advice. I’m doing 176 pages of reviews of episodes for a television show and I need to organize them and index them by season from the front page so they are easily accessible. So far it’s working except for the updating part. One thought I had is possibly just having the main page, and season pages, and having links to each of the episodes that are posts as an alternative….but I also have links on each episode to the episode and preceded and followed it as well. Not sure if that would get messy or not if I turned them into posts.
