Followers are not able to confirm their subscription

  hi there. I am receiving complaints from my followers that they are trying to follow my blog, but they do not receive the email in order to confirm their subscription. Consequently, they are not able to follow my blog. Please help! How do I correct this?

  Please tell them to check in their email client spam/ junk mail filter as well as the “social” tab in Gmail, if they use it.

  I’ll tag this thread for Staff assistance. Will you please provide a couple of usernames for those WordPress.com bloggers who did not receive the emails as well as a couple of email addresses for those who do not have WordPress.com accounts? The software will redact ie. HIDE the email addresses so only Staff can see them. After you do that subscribe to the thread so you are notified when they respond and please be patient while waiting. To subscribe look in the sidebar of this thread, find the subscribe to topics link and click it. Also be patient while waiting as there is a backlog.

  Thanks so much for responding. I am currently with (email visible only to moderators and staff) and we are searching through the email folders and are not able to locate anything. Same problem with (email visible only to moderators and staff).

  You’re welcome and not to worry as soon as Staff work through threads tagged prior to this one they will help you sort this.

  According to our records, (email visible only to moderators and staff) subscription is up and working. So they should receive updates. (email visible only to moderators and staff) has blocked subscription email from WordPress.com, but can update those settings by unchecking the block email box on this page

  Thanks so much for getting back to me. I clicked on the link and untucked the box. I am not sure I understand how this will assist my followers from receiving emails from WordPress. Please assist. Thanks

  I should have been more clear. Your user, (email visible only to moderators and staff), needs to uncheck the box on his or her notification page in order to start receiving emails.
