Followers Aren't Receiving Email Updates

  I added the Follow Blog widget to my site, but notifications aren’t being sent out when I create a new blog page. Is this a bug or does this widget only notify followers of new posts (as opposed to new pages)? If it’s intended to only notify followers of new posts, is there a different widget that will notify my followers when I create new pages and update existing ones? I’m using this blog as an information hub for my wedding, and my followers expect to get notified when I add new information.

  Hi there,

  Please note that email notifications are not sent out for published pages, only published posts. A way around this would be to publish a post about the new page, and you can include a link to that new page.
