Followers bombarded by my transferred posts??

  When I migrated by Tumblr blog of over 1,000 posts to my WordPress blog did my followers get notifications for each and every post transferred all at once?
  I sure hope that didn’t happen. I’ve noticed that now no one is active on my blog as they used to be. Please don’t tell me they received over 1,000 notifications immediately.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  OK – then I won’t Tell you that!

  They did not get 1,000 emails, how do you know – every one of your subscribers would have shown up with pitchforks after the 5th or so email in the first minute of processing

  This is the actual support for WordPress.COM, you can email the staff – takes much longer for a reply. You can post your question to be visible to only the staff, but can’t remember what box to check for that. Most of the help is provided by unpaid volunteers, the staff do check the forum and if we can’t help you then we flag to thread for the staff to help also –

  In that case, thank you and I hope I haven’t offended you by my previous comment. Perhaps the silence on my blog has something to do with signing up for the Headliner.fm promotion. I seem to remember the same anomaly happening on Tumblr.
