Followers by email – email setting help

Hi, newbie blogger here. When I put up new posts on my blog my followers get it emailed instantly and they can read the entire post on their email and don’t even have to click to visit my blog to read it. How do I change the setting so that the email shows the beginning of the post but then the email subscriber has to press read more which directs them my site? Thanks in advance!

There’s a “read more” link that you can add in your editor.
The “read more” link adder kind of looks like a hamburger – a thick bottom line, a thin dotted middle line, and a thick top line.
When you’re writing or editing your post, it’s in the top line of tools. It’s on the very right, next the the ABC with a tick.
Click where you want the read more link to appear, and then click on the tool.

Ok thanks! But does that change the emails that subscribers get? As that’s my main purpose that the email subscribers are then prompted to open up my site to read the full article. Thanks
