Followers don't get emails & non wordpress.com commenters

    2 questions asked by 1 of my readers who is a Blogger user:

    1. A wordpress.com follower of a blog, doesn’t necessarily get automatic emails. Correct? Therefore my blog statistic count of followers…doesn’t really reflect even recipients of notices on what I publish.

    2. Can a non-wordpress.com blogger, non-subscriber, still comment anonymously on a wordpress.com blog?
