Followers dropped from 300 to 24 (?)

Hello,
I’m sure that with your expertise in mind you will quickly be able to resolve my query/problem.
Please refer briefly to my blog called Movie Marks.
Yesterday I generated 3 posts, but in the process something went wrong – my followers dropped from over 300 odd to 24. (?) I tried to resolve this issue this morning but not able to find a solution. Perhaps a button was inadvertently pressed somewhere along the way.
My 2 other WordPress blogs (Mark Whelan Writes, Manchester United Supporters’ Blogs) were not affected by this sudden drop in support/followers.
Please help, and thank you in advance for looking at this for me.

The follower counts will include Facebook, Twitter, etc. When I checked your Publicize connections, however, it looks like there have been some errors connecting to your different social media accounts, and those accounts aren’t adding to your follower totals on markwhelansfilmlitblog.wordpress.com (which is not the case with your other blogs). I’d recommend going into your blog and under your Dashboard go to Settings > Sharing. From there, disconnect and reconnect all of those services, and see if your follower counts return.

Your chosen name seems so delightful and appropriate. I shan’t take too much of your time, but just wanted to say thank you so much for helping me out.
I have just two more queries, if you do have time to look at these. A simple one, then one which may take time to resolve.
1) With respect to the first, I have no alternative but ask you to refer to and view my blogs to simplify my query, I don’t quite know the technical jargon and how to couch my query in words.
If you view earlier posts you will see that there is a blue, highlighted text which I found very useful because readers can click onto these words for more info on that selected text, however, all posts that followed simply lost this function. I would like to re-install it but have not been able to configure how.
2) The challenge for me is growing traffic and adding more followers to my blog in order to publicise myself professionally. Such support, has over time, come in dribs and drabs. I realise that there is no quick-fix solution here, but I am in it for the long haul. But just a quick word or two from you may just help, given your expertise and all.

just thought I’d let u know that I’m now following your colourful and extremely friendly blog. pressed for time in my search for work and dollars to pay my rent, I may not always be able to visit, but my cat, Fingers, mean-spirited and selfish as she is, may be able to extend her curious preoccupations in the meantime.
in future, u may confuse her dialogue for my own, but i’ll figure a way round that. we may just get u to explain to her why it is not a good idea for her to fall in love with me.

Those are hyperlinks, and appear whenever you select text and use the chain/link button to add a website link to that text. It doesn’t look like you have any text hyperlinks in your most recent posts.
