followers have disappeared!

    What happened to my followers?
    Last week I had thousands of followers, and now there are only 81!
    I do social media for Barbara’s blog. She is in Mexico on vacation. Please contact me:

    Hi there!

    There are variations on the numbers we display for follower counts.

    The Follow Blog widget will display WordPress.com followers + email subscribers + social media followers such as Twitter followers and Facebook friends or Likes.

    However, if you visit your site stats, you’ll see these numbers separated out.

    And in the list of your followers, you’ll only see WordPress.com followers and email subscribers.
