Followers have disappeared

Hi,
I’ve recently canceled my service at a hosting company. I had a domain name and wordpress business. However, since I’ve moved back to my old wordpress.com domain, all of my followers are gone. Is there any way I can get them back? I sure hope so…

Are you referring to the site at freshbananaz.be that is connected to your account via the Jetpack plugin? If so, the followers are still on our system and we can move them to a WordPress.com site for you, yes. Please just confirm the address of the WordPress.com site, and I can take care of it for you.

Hi,
I had about 14 followers last Saturday (according to the counter that is on my home page), and when I entered on Sunday, two other bloggers were following me too. However, the counter reset the other followers and it’s happening every day since then, but the notification remains working though. Can you help me?

In future, please start your own thread rather than posting into a thread someone else created.
Your followers are still there – I followed your site yesterday to test and while it’s not showing in your stats I do see your latest post in my Reader. But it appears for some reason, likely related to the recent address change on your site, that the followers are not showing on your stats and People pages.
I’ve asked a developer to take a look into why this is happening. I’ll let you know once they get back to me.

Your follower count should be fixed now. Please try clearing your browser cache if it still doesn’t show the correct count in your Stats and under People.
